Central heating, a multi-channel TV, and a study table available in the king room. Spotless bathroom and a roll-in shower with good sewerage. Especially helpful and very amiable staff at all times.
Beds were small.

Very Compact hotel. Easy reach of Vatican.
No tea making faciities in the room. Charge for a just a cup of tea in the eveining was very expensive. Budget facilities but more expensive than budget price. If I were to recommend to a friend I would need to advise them that they are getting budget facilities for the cost of their stay. Apart from all of this we enjoyed our stay at the Alessandrino Hotel and would reccommend it to others who wanted to be near the Vatican.

The double room was perfect with central heating, a multi-channel TV, and a study table. We liked the wake-up service available. - the hotel was conveniently located. - Spent our evenings in nearby Rosy O'Grady enjoying drinks and atmosphere. My rewritten version: The double room was great with central heating, a multi-channel TV, and a study table which made our stay comfortable. the hotel's convenient location allowed us easy access to all our planned activities. We appreciated the wake-up service provided and enjoyed spending our evenings at the nearby Rosy O'Grady where we enjoyed drinks and the lively atmosphere.

The location w/ respect to Vatican City was excellent; wrt the other sites we wanted to see... Not so good. The breakfast also included eggs, which we did not expect in a "continental" breakfast, and the American coffee w/ warm milk was pretty good most days. We stayed 5 nites.
The evening desk clerk was very curt and not very helpful. The bed was very hard; the bed covers were frayed. The shower was very tiny, but it served its function. I do wish the European hotels would loose the bidet and enlarge the showers!! The "cooling" equipment was not workable... The hotel was at the top of a big hill, and after trekking up the hill every nite, it would have been nice to have some cool air, even vented and blown from the outside would have be acceptable. But the window had no screens, only shutters, so we couldn't even throw the windows open to cool the room.

Nice and clean -new
The re is no parking at all, very small streets and top of the hill. They say they do have parking on yr page, and not true. It si at 500 mts at bottom of hill. Very nasty. You should have them correct, main reason I got this was near to vatican and has parking.
